Guidebook with maps/step-by-step :

Located in Chavière Valley’s beautiful natural mountain environment, everyone can enjoy this pleasant, leisurely stroll.
This walk is very accessible: for families with strollers, senior citizens, and people with reduced mobility.
Embark on this 1.5km loop starting in the village of Les Prioux, located at 1700 meters elevation. Up here, nature reigns and humans learn to adapt. As if to make up for lost time during the long winter months when cut off from the rest of the world, the houses up here seem to “talk” to each other. They will tell you stories about yesteryear and of life today still influenced by the passing of the seasons: the pastures, making Beaufort cheese, tourism, mountain professions.
The village includes two typical mountain-style restaurants and a mountain hut (20 beds).
