Covid-19 information

On September 30, the French government announced that all French ski resorts will be able to operate their lifts this winter. Pralognan-la-Vanoise and the ski area will be open from December 18, 2021, through April 18, 2022.

Whatever the protocols in effect, your health and safety is our highest priority, and we have made all possible preparations and necessary arrangements. Everyone in Pralognan-la-Vanoise looks forward to your visit and has come together to make sure that you enjoy a fantastic getaway filled with fun activities all day long, making sure that everyone follows the health and safety rules in effect.

We plan to update this page on a regular basis to keep you informed of the latest changes in the rules and protocols.

Wearing a mask

As of March 14, wearing a mask will no longer be mandatory. All places are concerned, except public passenger transport and health establishments.

Health & vaccine pass

As of March 14, the application of the vaccine pass will be suspended in all places where it was required (leisure and cultural places, commercial catering activities, fairs and trade shows, etc.).

Ski area & lifts

Wearing a mask is compulsory from the age of 6 in “closed” ski lifts, i.e. the cable car. On the other hand, the mask does not need to be worn while skiing.

Good practices and application of barrier gestures are essential throughout the ski area.

As of March 14, 2022, with regard to the ski lifts, and subject to the provisions which will be drafted in the decree to come, the vaccination pass is no longer necessary to access the ski lifts.
