Alpine Pasture Festival
At Alpage de Ritord, discover the secrets of how Beaufort is made!
The alpine farmers welcome us and give us a glimpse into their lives. They’ll show you how they make Beaufort d’Alpage cheese and help you prepare traditional polenta in a cauldron… Then it’s time for a tasting, around rustic tables in an exceptional natural setting!
PROGRAMME:
10am: hike up to the mountain pasture from the Pont de la Pêche car park, accompanied by a mountain guide.
12 noon: lunch (booking required via the tourist office).
2pm: activities showcasing life on the mountain pasture.
3.30pm: guided return to the car park
