The Fête de l’Alpe et des guides – Mountain and Guide Festival offers an incredible opportunity to learn about the history and life in the Pralognan of yesteryear through a float parade that provides a live timeline with historical depictions of the village from the end of the 19th century to today.

Sound and light show on the Louza rock : since the conquest of the Vanoise and the ascent of the Grande Casse, in 1860, mountaineering techniques and the profession of guide have changed a lot.
The population pays tribute to the guides who died in the mountains.
The mass, celebrated in the open air, ends with the blessing of ropes and ice axes.
