Guided tour: gourmet walk in Pralo

Follow the guide through the streets to discover Pralognan-la-Vanoise, the cradle of mountaineering in Savoie, and get to know local producers and mountain products. Tasting at the end of the tour.

Set off on a walking tour through the streets and alleys of Pralognan-la-Vanoise, guided and narrated by a tour guide from the Pays d’art et d’histoire des Hautes Vallées de Savoie (Land of Art and History of the Upper Valleys of Savoie). The traditional neighbourhoods of the village, some of which are protected, serve as the backdrop for the tour, which takes you through narrow streets and squares to learn more about the Pralognanais way of life at altitude. The tour includes stops to meet local producers and discover products that symbolise the mountains, such as free-range pig farmers, cheese and Beaufort cheese, liqueur makers and the secrets of génépi, etc. The tour ends with a gourmet tasting session. The tour is led by a guide from the Pays d’art et d’histoire with the Facim Foundation.
