Mountain Cinema: 2000 Days in Paradise

Mountain Cinema: 2000 Days in Paradise

A poignant wildlife documentary that will take you away from the beaten track to the heart of the job of mountain wildlife filmmaker.

This film recreates a unique journey of more than 2000 days to meet the wild. For 18 years, the Lapied have been tracking mountain animals in the Grand Paradis massif. Away from the beaten track, we go with Véronique, Anne and Erik in their patient approaches, their attempts to understand traces and habits of the masters of the place. They take us in their affûts, their failures, but also the pure moment of grace of a long-awaited meeting.
Between exceptional animal scenes, poetry and reflection on the relationship of man to nature, this true story will take you closer to the job of mountain wildlife filmmaker.
Each session is in the presence of one of the directors, more than a film…. A meeting!
