Spectacle enfants | Viva Frida – Panthère Noire

A children’s show by the Compagnie de La Panthère Noire.

This new creation is a journey, inspired by the childhood of the painter Frida Kahlo.
Surrounded by her animals, Frida developed, from a very young age, a way of coping with her illness.
Throughout her life, she maintained this habit of drawing and painting what she felt, to cope with her suffering and live out her dreams.

Georges, Henriette and their all-purpose machine will set off across Mexico to meet Fulang, Frida’s monkey.

Will he lead us in Frida’s footsteps?
During the journey, we might come across ‘La Muerte’, an iconic figure in Mexican culture, who speaks in mysterious words: ‘Frida, as long as you keep painting, I won’t come to take you away.’

This show is a celebration of colour, a festival of humour and poetry.
