A 2- or 3-day hike with an overnight stay in a mountain refuge, to observe, feel, enjoy, escape, and thrive in the heart of nature, in the Vanoise National Park. Through alpine pastures, streams, summer scents, chamois, ibex, and marmots, you will discover the legendary route of the Tour des Glaciers de la Vanoise.
The mountain guide will share the many secrets of our valleys, their values, and their history throughout the hike, and also in the evening at the mountain refuge, high up in the mountains, over a well-deserved Savoyard meal. This sporting walk is open to anyone, male or female, over 20 years of age on the day of the event, whether or not they hold a sports license. It is intended for experienced walkers in good physical condition and capable of tackling steep trails.
The 73 km hike with 3800m of elevation gain is not timed and will be led by professionals. Over two days, it follows the same route as the Tour des Glaciers de la Vanoise trail race.
The start and finish of the walk are in Pralognan la Vanoise.
