Col de la Vanoise Hut (FFCAM-French Alpine Club)
A required stop when hiking the loop to circumnavigate the Vanoise Glaciers, Col de la Vanoise Pass, along the legendary GR55 trail, is also the most visited location in the Vanoise range, and rightly so.
A historic hut; completely renovated in 2014, with magnificent views of Grande Casse Peak and the Pointe de la Réchasse ridgeline.
Hut open and staffed from the beginning of March through the end of September.
