The resort is accessible by car, train (Moûtiers – Salins – Brides-les-Bains station), and then by bus or taxi.

HOW CAN I CHECK ROAD CONDITIONS BEFORE I TRAVEL?
Mountain roads, especially in winter, can change quickly, and some equipment may be required.
We recommend checking real-time traffic information and forecasts on the Savoie Route website.
WHERE CAN I PARK WHEN I ARRIVE?
Several parking options are available in the village. Depending on your accommodation and the season, suitable parking solutions will allow you to settle in easily.
ARE THERE FREE SHUTTLES IN THE RESORTS?
During the tourist season (summer and winter), free shuttles run in the village. Depending on the season, they serve the main districts or key hiking/ski areas.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE WEEKLY ANIMATION PROGRAM?
All year round, the resort offers activities and events for all ages: family activities, sports events, and festive gatherings.
During the season, the weekly animation program is published every Friday for the following week. It is available: at the Tourist Office, from local accommodations and shops, online on our dedicated page.
Throughout the season, many events are already listed in the online agenda.
HOW CAN I CHECK THE WEATHER DURING MY STAY?
Mountain weather can change quickly. To plan your activities and hikes, it is recommended to check the local forecast before your departure and every day during your stay.
You can follow the weather on the Pralognan-la-Vanoise Tourist Office website or via reliable weather apps (Météo France, etc.). During the season, the detailed Météo France Montagne forecast is updated every morning on the information board at the Tourist Office.
❄️ HOW CAN I CHECK SNOW CONDITIONS?
For skiing and winter sports enthusiasts, knowing the condition of the slopes and snow coverage is essential.
Snow information is updated regularly and allows you to know which slopes are open and in what conditions.
You can check the snow conditions online, on the weather page, or via live webcams to see real-time conditions on the slopes and in the village.
❄️ HOW CAN I CHECK WHICH LIFTS AND SLOPES ARE OPEN?
The status of ski lifts, alpine ski slopes, cross-country ski trails, sledding runs, and walking or snowshoe paths is updated daily during the season. This information is also available in the domaine opening hours.
These updates allow you to plan your ski days and choose slopes suitable for your level.
You can also check live webcams to view real-time conditions on the slopes and in the village.
☀️ HOW CAN I CHECK THE ACCESSIBILITY OF HIKING TRAILS?
During the summer season, it is important to check the accessibility of trails before heading out.
Hiking trails are regularly maintained and updated according to weather and seasonal conditions. Trail status is available online and on the information boards at the Tourist Office.
This information allows you to plan safe walks and choose routes suitable for your level.

☀️ PEAK ATTENDANCE, HOW CAN I ANTICIPATE MY STAY?
During the summer period, Pralognan-la-Vanoise hosts several events and highlights likely to lead to a significant increase in attendance at the village, car parks and hiking routes. These summer events – sporting, cultural and festive – as well as the resort’s regular events, can generate peaks in attendance, particularly on weekends and during school holidays.
In order to fully enjoy your stay, we recommend that you anticipate your travel and reservations:
– reservation of your accommodation and restaurants,
– organization of your arrivals, departures and parking,
– planning your activities and outings,
– taking into account possible waiting times on certain sites or services.

HOW TO FIND OUT THE SHOPS OPEN IN THE OFF-SEASON?
During the off-season, certain businesses, restaurants and services may have reduced hours or be closed on certain days.
The Tourist Office provides you with a list of open businesses.
This list can also be consulted on the notice board located in front of the Tourist Office, to allow you to plan your purchases, meals and activities with complete peace of mind.
