Alpage de Ritord (Ritord Alpine Pastures)

From mid-June to mid-September, the cows are in the pastures.

Dairy farming, traditional processing, aging, and direct sales. Production of Beaufort AOP “Chalet d’Alpage” cheese, Raclette, Tomme de Vache, and Bleu cheese. Come and discover how Beaufort is made at the mountain pasture (Chavière Valley, a 45-minute walk from the Pont de la Pêche parking area). Direct sales in the village on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (chalet opposite the Maison du Parc) and every day at the mountain pasture. The cows graze in the mountain pastures; hikes are possible with the Bureau des Guides et Accompagnateurs (Guides and Mountain Leaders Office).
