World Snowshoeing

From March 14 to 21, 2026, Pralognan-la-Vanoise invites you to experience a unique week, dedicated to the mountains and snowshoeing during the Mondial de la Raquette.

On the program: supervised snowshoe outings to explore the mountains in all their facets, mountain safety workshops, wildlife observation sessions, gourmet walks, and local heritage discovery.

Program for the week of March 14-21, 2026:

Saturday, March 14 or Sunday, March 15: Arrival in Pralognan-la-Vanoise depending on the accommodation option chosen.
Monday, March 16: Warm-up and safety session with safety experts: guides, ski patrollers, etc.
Tuesday, March 17: Environmental education and sustainable practices with Vanoise National Park officials.
Wednesday, March 18: Heritage: The village and its mountain pastures seen from above, with FACIM guides. A panoramic outing!
Thursday, March 19:
Friday, March 20: Gourmet hike to meet local producers.

And throughout the week, the Tourist Office offers free activities and workshops open to all: workshops, lectures, screenings, tastings, and more.

The program is subject to change depending on snow conditions and weather. Please also note that depending on the number of participants, outings may vary from day to day and will take place either from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or from 1:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
